How to Install Windows XP using USB flash drive?

Some of you are confused on how to install Windows XP on a computer without CD-ROM. Well your problem is solved just read this guide carefully and follow steps by steps. Note: This tutorial is not only working in Asus EEE Pc this works also in other Computers, Laptops and Notebooks!

First you need to download this file, it’s the fixed ones and works on me.

Note: when you are at the download page select “Download for free with Filefactory Basic”.

Bootsect & usb_prep8.zip

Here’s how:

1. Insert your USB flash drive to your computer.

2. Extract the Bootsect & usb_prep8.

3. In usb_prep8 folder double click the usb_prep8.cmd and press any key to continue.

4. PeToUSB will be open automatically. Don’t change anything in PeToUSB window.

5. Click Start. It will automatically format your usb flash disk, takes only a few seconds.

6. After formatting do not close usb_prep8 and PeToUSB windows.

7. Open a cmd prompt ( Start> Run and type cmd or command)

8. Locate where you extract the bootsect folder.

9. When you are there type bootsect.exe /nt52 G: and press enter (G: is only a sample better know what is the letter of your USB Drive) .

10. After that you see “Bootcode was successfully updated on all targeted volumes.”

11. Close cmd prompt and close the PeToUSB. (still do not close the usb_prep8.cmd)

12. In usb_prep8.cmd you will see this:

13. Now put the correct info in numbers 1-3.

  • Press 1, enter, browse and locate the CD drive where you inserted your windows installer.
  • Press 2, enter, now assign a letter to create your virtual drive e.g. T: (any letters that are not already in use in your drives.)
  • Press 3, enter, now put the drive letter of your USB flash drive. (look into your My Computer to identify what drive letter assigned to your USB flash drive.)
  • Once your done assigning press 4 then enter
  • Press Y to continue.
  • Once done press enter to continue, it will copy now your windows installer to your temporary drive.
  • Once done, you will see a pop up box asking if you want to copy the files to your USB drive. Click “Yes”. It will take around 15-30 mins copying.
  • Once it is completely done copying, a pop up box will appear asking if you would like the USB drive to be preferred boot drive U: select YES.

14. Now your done making your USB Windows Installer.

When you sign up for an affiliate program, you will be paid a commission for each sale you refer to the online store. This commission can range from 5% to 15% for physical products, and possibly up to 50% or more for virtual products such as subscriptions and ebooks.

On the other hand, if you start your own store, your profit can be much higher. For virtual products, your profit can be 100% of your selling price. After all, once the newsletter or ebook is created, you do not need to spend any more effort. When someone buys your ebook, they just download it from your website. If you are selling a physical product, your profit depends on whether you are manufacturing the product yourself, or buying from a wholesaler or dropshipping company. Well buying an accounting software package is one way.

First of all you need to decide whether you are going to keep your accounting records manually, that is using pen and paper, or whether you are going to computerize the process.

Who created accounting principles? Who sets and revises accounting standards? What if you don’t follow all the rules, do you go to jail? Is there an accounting police force that investigates and arrests violators? It would seem that there must be some regulatory force to make sure that providers of financial statements conform to the rules. There is, up to a point, and here is how it works:

Mainly, it’s all voluntary and it works pretty well. First, double-entry accounting originated in Italy in the 1400’s, so its been around awhile. The FASB members go through a lengthy process of analyzing and reviewing problems in the accounting field that are brought to them. After much thought, they will make a pronouncement as to what they think the new or revised way of approaching the treatment of an accounting issue should be.

They are a non-governmental organization that has private financing. A big supporter of FASB is the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Many Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) belong to this prestigious organization and are obligated to abide by its guidelines and principles of behavior. Other countries no doubt have similar organizations that require high levels of accounting professional conduct.

FASB established an accounting code called “Generally Accepted Accounting Principles” or (GAAP). The assumption is that if a business financial statement is prepared according to GAAP, then the user of that financial statement could rely on or trust the information more readily than if not prepared according to GAAP. Those businesses that deviate from GAAP, and many smaller businesses do, cannot say that their statements are prepared under GAAP; in fact, they should inform the reader that they are not. One governmental body that has a policing function is the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). It is primarily concerned with public companies because their job is to protect investors from unscrupulous acts. Recently, the SEC has gotten into the act of establishing accounting standards. It has its hands full today.

You can see that in many ways compliance to the principles and standards is a mixture of voluntary and regulatory behavior. Currently, there is an effort underway to set international accounting standards due to the inexorable globalization process. This is a massive undertaking that will take years, but it is obviously necessary and inevitable.
